We CAN Change the Vibration
Frustrated by negativity, chaos, and division of the pandemic, professional singer/songwriter Margo LeDuc felt a pull to change the vibration.
So she started to write a song about how she wanted to show up: moving through the world with love, peace, respect, and kindness.
More than words, these were values she wanted to put into motion every day and inspire others to do the same.
That song became Walking for Love and inspired a vision of people from all cultures, religions, political ideals, and perspectives coming together to walk in love and for love across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Important Details
The Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center and Vista Point parking lots are currently closed to the public on weekends.
We’ll be meeting at 610 Mason St at the Parking Lot next to the Sports Basement at 11:15 am.
A bus will take us from 610 Mason to the GG Bridge Welcome Center. If you are taking public transportation or a rideshare to the bridge, you can meet us at the Welcome Center, where our walk will begin at 12:30 pm. Buses will transport us back across the bridge and drop off at the 610 Mason at the end of the event.
Traffic Advisory! Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is happening in Golden Gate Park this weekend. Please allow extra time.
If you’re driving from the Peninsula, we recommend avoiding the Highway 1/19th Avenue route through Golden Gate Park. Take US-101 into San Francisco and approach the Presidio via Lombard Street and Marina Boulevard/Mason Street. Please allow extra travel time.
Coming from the North Bay: Take US-101 south across the Golden Gate Bridge and use the Marina Boulevard exit to reach 610 Mason. Please allow extra travel time.
Schedule of Events
11:15am – 12:00pm – Meet at 610 Mason St (Parking Lot at Sports Basement) Google Maps, Apple Maps
Meet the group, grab Your T-shirt, and hop on a bus that will take us to the GG Bridge Welcome Center.
Additional parking – Lincoln/Anza, French Ct, and Mason/Halleck. To find the lots, download the PaybyPhone App and in the Map section (bottom menu), put in the address as 610 Mason.
12:30pm – Walk Starts at the GG Brige Welcome Center
Let’s Walk 4 Love! Walk, strut, dance, prance across the bridge at your own speed! (You can take a rideshare to the bridge).
1:15pm- Celebrate at Vista Point
Take a deep breath, soak in those amazing views and grab some selfies!
1:30pm – Walking for Love Music video!
Warm your voice up and get ready for your moment of fame!
2:00pm – buses return the group to 610 Mason parking lot.

Things to know about walking across the Golden Gate Bridge
- The walk from the Visitor Center to Vista Point is 1.8 miles – plan for walking 40 minutes to an hour. We are only walking one way – you can walk back or buy a transportation ticket.
- Only service animals are allowed on the bridge
- Restrooms are available at either end
